**Scope and Responsibility:**

The Regional Sales Manager - TIP will lead the West region based sales team focusing on Totally Integrated Power Product Solutions and Services. Their portfolio of products and solutions are primarily Low, Medium and High Voltage Products, MCCs, Digital Grid, LVS, Transformers as well as other products included in TIP portfolio. This role isresponsible forgrowing market share and profitability across the TIP portfolio.

Specific responsibilities to be quickly/effectively instituted:

+ Implement sales force effectiveness by driving profitable share gains through cross selling the Siemens product portfolio to Industrial customers.

+ Align resources to support Value Propositions for targeted market segments

+ Proactively work across other Siemens organizations to leverage complimentary resources, solutions and or channels to obtain profitable growth and market share.

+ Talent development of Sales Managers and Sales Professionals.

+ Provide leadership and drive sales process development through partnering with support teams to include Siemens Industry Business Units.

+ Optimizing area of responsibility to maximize profitability.

**Background Required:**

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years personal sales experience together with a minimum of 5 years in a sales management position and can demonstrate a successful track record in a Sales Leadership role.

Previous sales experience within Siemens, representing a broad industrial or construction product portfolio is required. Demonstrated track record of effectively navigating highly matrixed organizations including culture and processes is critical to success of this position.

+ Entrepreneurial view of the market and growing the business

+ Credibility throughout the entire Siemens value chain

+ Pricing management-ideology & tools

+ Profitable revenue growth in a construction/ Industrial function/region year-over-year.

+ Excellent track record of establishing strong customer relationships.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment, working with direct and matrixed resources to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable growth

+ Successful track record of assembling and developing strong teams.

+ Proven track record of success operating with multiple channels to market including: direct sales, distributors, solution providers

Must be willing to take measured risk, and demonstrate the ability to act with a sense of urgency without sacrificing excellence. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, which results in teamwork, shared knowledge and ideas.
