_We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Director. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales this role will be responsible for closing business, developing customer accounts and driving territory based opportunity._

**_This position can be located anywhere in the SE region_**

_Duties to include:_

+ _Create a business plan for your assigned region in the United States_

+ _Cultivate and maintain the Sales territory._

+ _Collaborate marketing activities within your respective territory to generate qualified target opportunities._

+ _Build a sales pipeline to be no less than 4x quota._

+ _Achieve assigned territory quota._

+ _Maintain status of sales activities in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM)._

+ _Identify potential alliances within your region which can grow our business._

+ _Develop and close new business that generates profitable revenue growth for the company._

+ _Attain Revenue Targets and consistently close business on a quarterly basis_

+ _Maintain sales related overhead costs and out-of-pocket expenses within established budget targets._

+ _Gather prospect/customer feedback for new features and enhancements._

+ _Maintain relationships with customers to develop reference base and retain business._

+ _Stay abreast of changes in relevant technology, competition, customer preferences and regulatory requirements that may affect positioning in the marketplace._

+ _Travel of up to 75% expected._

_Preferred skills include:_

+ _Minimum of five years experience in health information technology sales with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota._

+ _Strategic selling skills account analysis and business solutions development with an emphasis on Return on Investment (ROI)._

+ _Conceptual selling skills presentation, demonstration, proposals and closing._

+ _Demonstrated written and verbal skills_

+ _Financial and business analysis acumen._

+ _Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare information technology and systems including Practice Management Systems, Electronic Medical Records Systems, Electronic Health Records Systems and/or Hospital Information Systems._
