**Job Description:**







**Regional Account Manager:**







We are looking for highly motivated Sales professionals to lead commercial activities related to the sale of renewable energy products (wind turbines, service, etc.) within the Americas region. Successful candidates have the ability to execute the complete sales process including proposal generation, strategy development, customer relationship management and contract negotiation. This is a client facing position wherein a candidate will represent Siemens Gamesa for all account / commercial activities. Positive, persistent, self-motivated and action oriented candidates with demonstrated transaction experience is required.







**Responsibilities:**



- Develop strong, high performing relationships with key customer personnel.







- Generation and evaluation of sales leads and business opportunities with assigned clients and/or region.







- Creation of offers, negotiation strategy & RFP responses, leading our activities to successful conclusion.







- Direct and prioritize the activities of a multi-functional team to ensure uniform understanding of technical requirements, product selection, commercial strategy, cost / price development needed for proposal generation.







- Capture relevant regional market data, including deep understanding of customer value/revenue drivers, competitor intelligence, customer insights and market pricing for all products.







- Assist in preparing sales forecasts, budgets, account strategies and business approval processes with Regional Head.







- Utilize Salesforce.com for opportunity and CRM management







- Other duties as assigned.







**Requirements**



- Bachelors degree in an technical discipline, MBA or equivalent experience in Sales.







- 10+ years of direct sales & strategy experience







- Wind Power experience desired - Vestas, GE Renewables, EDF, Renewable Customers, Developers



- Strong communication & negotiation skills



- Team-player mind set.



- Strong quality & organization orientation.



- Demonstrates initiative and result oriented.







**Education:**



BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.







**Knowledge and Experience:**



Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successful completion of complex assignments. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates significant knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues. Typically 7-10 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.

Provides specialized guidance to other indirect professional staff. Leadership qualities and role model qualities demonstrated.
