Abbott Molecular has an new opening for Quality Manager, Data Analytics and Informatics to be located in Des Plaines, IL.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Incumbent is responsible for Quality Data Analytics for the Abbott Molecular division.
  • Quality System procedure(s)
  • Training Curriculum
  • Leading indicators, including but not limited to: new products, incoming and operations quality
  • Lagging indicators, including but not limited to: on-market products/post-market surveillance
  • Competitive intel
  • Global Regulatory Agency/Authority compliance and intel
  • Early Signal Detection
  • Divisional Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development & deployment
  • Monthly Quality Scorecard – Corporate & Divisional KPI’s
  • Monthly Customer Care Meetings – KPI’s, Tracking & Trending
  • Quarterly Divisional Management Reviews – KPI’s
  • Incumbent may have direct reports. Responsible for goal setting, development planning, succession planning, and performance management.

    Education:

    • 4-year degree in a scientific or technical discipline
    • Minimum 7 years of statistics experience in the medical device industry
    • Minimum of 7 years of Data Analytics experience in the medical device industry

      Background:

      • Proven progressive thinker who has developed and managed a world class Quality Data Analytics program in the medical device industry
      • Strong working knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (21 CFR Part 820) and ISO 13485: 2016
      • Strong people skills
      • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills – collaborates across boundaries to create cross-business opportunities
