**Project Procurement Management Professional -** **GE Aero derivative**







**Position Overview**







Are **you** ready to work in a startup like environment, being responsible for multiple roles (Overhaul business manager, Customer Service Representative, Project Procurement Specialist), managing and interfacing with external suppliers to support creation of new value chains which ensure execution while obtaining the maximum benefit for our customers?







The roles main objectives:



- Identifies and guides supply base risk, opportunities and market forces to avoid potential damage / exploit potential opportunities; solves project specific challenges.



- Responsible for the execution and delivery of Projects material & Services. Ensures that all material and services meet project delivery requirements



- Support end to end supply chain from ordering phase to product delivery and warranty returns.



- Analyzes customer inquiries during bid preparation / opportunity management phases and exactly understands the customer's functional needs in order to include only requirements needed by customer (Service bulletins )







- Identify market opportunities and develop strategies for spare part sales to support sales and Inventory teams







**Responsibilities**



- A working knowledge of Power Turbine, Gas Generator and combustion design and application of GE Industrial Aero-derivative Gas Turbine models LM 2500 including variants, LM 6000 including variants.



- Develop and maintain Siemens Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Centre (MROC) strategy for the respective overhaul base







- Work as the prime PS oOEM interface and manage the interfaces between the licensed MROC and the PS oOEM Ops SCM in Orlando to ensure clear communication between the groups.







- Prior to the induction of each Gas Turbine for repair and overhaul align with the Fleet Planning, Engineering and the Project Management community to define the scope and plan to execute the overhaul.







- Identify risks to this plan and work with the MROC and other stakeholders to mitigate, escalate and reach resolution prior to induction.







- Control, Monitor and Execute the required Repair and Overhaul requirements for all engines inducted ensuring that we maximize the Value to Siemens, and that of our Customers, minimizing new parts usage and maximizing repairs within the MROC at each event.







- Control, Monitor, Report the Overhaul base performance targets to the required QRTQCD measures and the defined KPIs and ensure these are achieved. Taking the necessary actions as appropriate to ensure Contract Performance is delivered.







- Ensure compliance with the relevant target costs requirements for all event arisings, ensure robust, scalable data capture is maintained within the MROC and within Siemens IT systems, monitoring and controlling Parts, Repairs and labor associated with each arising.







- Ensure that the overhaul shop capacity is aligned the forecasted demand within +/- 5%, coordinating with the master scheduler to resolve scheduling and business priority, ensuring all resources including tooling, training, services and people are available to deliver the required capability and capacity.







- Responsible for planning, execution and communication of project purchasing plan for End to End supply chain processes for Repair and Overhaul scope.



- Defines, tracks and reports on scheduling, risk, change, opportunities and resource management.



- Track the vendor's progress against the original and/or revised schedule.



- Expedite reporting Purchasing/Inventory analysis for process improvements.



- Supports contractual and price negotiations in collaboration with Strategic Procurement to improve EBIT.



- Manages project scope at Suppliers to ensure only required SOW is executed to maximize customer benefit and preserve project EBIT calculations.



- Responsible for effectively communicating with cross-functional team members on project status and SCM tasks.



- Develop and maintain relationship with suppliers to improve cost, quality and delivery performance.



- Review and target supplier delivery improvements & late order resolution.



- Works in conjunction with Strategic procurement, supplier quality and Logistics for improving total cost of ownership of products/services



- Acts on behalf of SCM in alignment with Strategic procurement, Supplier quality management and Project management prioritization and requirement.



- Assists Strategic procurement team in executing Commodity strategies at tactical level.



- Supports project calculation with reliable material cost data.



- Analyzes sales and operations planning in respect of starting / new projects, assessing and controlling of material costs within the whole project business in order to ensure the involvement of Procurement.



- Drives Procurement strategies in projects and ensures their implementation.



- Clarifies internal indicators for project controlling and compiling all relevant information to submit qualified reports.



- Experience with Lean methodology in identifying and reducing or completely eliminating waste from process







**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**



**Education:**



- BS/BA Bachelors degree (Engineering ,Supply Chain Projects degree preferred)







**Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:**







**Experience:**



- 8+ years relevant work experience in Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or relevant area of expertise







- Procurement, Supply Chain Management or relevant area of expertise







- Professional certification (APICS, ISM, PMI etc..)







- PM@ Siemens







- Strong negotiation skills with both internal and external suppliers to drive project performance



- Strong analytical/computer skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc)



- Proficient with SAP (MM, PS, PP, IM WM) or similar ERP applications



- Knowledge of incoterms and its impact on cost and risk to the project



- Excellent SAP Skills to support Purchase to Pay process.



- Well organized to support changing priorities and project schedules systematically all relevant Procurement related project information.



- Experience successfully influencing, leading and driving collaboration across functions



- Solid written and verbal communication skills







- Bi-lingual German and English is a plus.







- Able and willing to Travel domestically and internationally







Ability to represent Siemens, PS oOEM Ops SCM when customers visit the MROC.







A broad knowledge of the aero business customers, products and services.







Proven experience in operation management.







Experience in planning, risk management and project/program management in a commercial customer facing environment.
