**Job Description:**

**Siemens Rail Automation** is expanding its Project Management team and were looking for a mid-level Document Manager toprovide project documentation in conformance with contractual requirements while ensuring that all internal and external regulations and project documentation requirements in the customer project are met and to support the project team in order to ensure that project documentation is processed efficiently and effectively.

**More responsibilities for this position will include:**

**-** Setting up the project environment in the EDM system (sovereignty of responsibility, folder structure, roles and rights, storage/classification criteria) in cooperation with the Sovereignty Manager

- Creating the project-specific document management plan (DM plan)

- Coordinating the document list (includes both customer and internal project documents) with the Project Manager, the sub-project managers and, where applicable, the customer

- Supporting the controlling of document creation on schedule in cooperation with the Scheduler

- Delivering the contractually agreed customer documents (submittals) to external parties (e.g. customer, adviser, and supplier) and/or to an intermediary local office. This also includes the entire correspondence relating to documents for these interfaces.

-Jointly with the "Technical Editor (TE)": Ensuring that there is a sustainable efficient solution for translations of customer documentation through the use of uniform translation services

**Required Education, Skills and Experience**

BS degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the Rail Industries or relevant comparable background

Prior experience with Electronic Document Management Systems

Familiar with applicable US and international regulatory requirements (e.g. 21 CFR Parts 11, 210, 211, 820).

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Exhibits a good understanding of general quality assurance concepts and practices

Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

Successful history of solving problems of moderate complexity

Proven ability to manage both day-to-day operations, as well as project work in a fast-paced environment

Familiar with project management methodology and process

Possess strong computer and Internet skills, including online document management experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
