**Role Value Proposition:**

The Project Coordinator for Engineering will work with the lead of Engineering Strategy and Planning team to implement new process initiatives focusing on best practice and standardization. The Project Coordinator will assist in process modeling and reengineering sessions, prepare Business Cases and Requirement Documents and conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate and report results for all new and refined processes and workflow. The Project Coordinator will also investigate and recommend tools and technologies to streamline processes, report on process improvement initiatives and maintain project documentation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Supports the Engineering Strategy and Planning department to ensure organizational metrics compliance

+ Supports the effort to generate organizational reports and dashboards

+ Oversees and executes projects typically medium in scope and complexity

+ Identifies, assembles and oversees the resources to support the work

+ Works with the customer and business partners to define the approach of the projects

+ Assists in or leads project review meetings, documents project status, updates project plans if applicable and resolves issues and reports critical items including action plans to project stakeholders

+ Facilitates required governance and communications

+ Manage project deliverables

+ With moderate supervision, executes components of medium sized projects, identifies resources needed, assembles project team and assigns individual responsibilities

+ Communicates with Project Management counterparts, customers and project stakeholders to ensure continuing alignment with project objectives

+ Manages stakeholder (customers, vendors, etc.) and team expectations

+ Manages assigned resources to ensure on-time completion of planned tasks

+ Supports the leadership team to ensure organizational metrics compliance

+ Identifies and mitigates issues and risks

+ Works with various areas of the organization within Engineering to ensure quality PAR (Project Approval Request) document

**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**


+ Proficient with project management concepts such as Scope, Communication, Financial and Risk Management practices

+ Excellent communication and analytical skills, inclusive of written, verbal and listening

+ Customer Service Orientation and strong teamwork

+ Able to achieve results in a matrix setting through stewardship, influence, motivation and change leadership

**Preferred** :

+ Bachelors degree and related field experience

+ 2-5 years of IT/project management experience

+ Financial Services and / or Insurance Industry experience preferred
