**Role Value Proposition:**

Service Management is responsible for core IT Service Management processes globally for MetLifes Technology organization. This role will be responsible for providing input for creation of new services and retirement of older services, reporting and analyzing expense impacts to services, chargeback of services across the business, and benchmarking services externally. The role will closely coordinate and partner with both IT Service Owners on the reporting of IT Services, as well as with Expense Management to map costs to the service offerings.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Prepares monthly reporting package for senior level manager and their staff and participates in the monthly manager staff meetings to review service delivery reporting package and benchmarking of services.

+ Analyzes spending trends to ensure proper spend and provides Finance with accurate forecasts.

+ Collects, consolidates and analyzes materials as necessary to facilitate decision making related to the program and service investments.

+ Works closely on the annual planning process and ensure that service mix and budgets are in line with management and business requirements.

+ Supports standardization, leveraging best practices for the service management delivery process.

+ Develops service delivery strategy, determines the services to be offered, define tiered/differentiated services and measured with respect to value to the end user/stakeholders.

+ Coordinates country-specific legal and financial compliance reviews. Factors major operational issues relevant to country/location into business decisions as appropriate. Analyzes organization's experience with all regions for relevance to current or potential business.

+ Explores application-related issues with both business and IT professionals. Consults on conversion and retirement of core systems. Monitors industry for new approaches to application development and implementation.

**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**


+ Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance or other related fields or equivalent work experience.

+ 10+ years of broad IT experience, including application development or infrastructure engineering/support.

+ Exceptional analytical, communication, prioritization, and project management skills.

+ Proficiency in MS Excel and Apptio.


+ Experience with Apptio TBM Product Suite and knowledge of the Technology Business Management taxonomy

+ Experience with IT financial management processes, chargeback of IT services, and benchmarking
