_Job Description:_ _Peop_ _le Analytics Specialist_

**Reporting line**

Reports to Head of HR OT People Analytics, Siemens AG; and interacts with country Head of HR OT/OE


The People Analytics Specialist will consult the HR Management Team, global HR BPs and Field HR on people analytics and deliver focused analyses to create insights about the workforce and to derive business decisions. They will have responsibility for building and managing regional HR analytic services and tools, leading the detailed statistical analysis of our human capital to identify actionable insights, and building predictive models. The insight from this analysis will be used to drive HR investments, talent management decisions and to assess HR program effectiveness. The position will create and statistically analyze large data sets of internal and external data and communicate the results across the organization in a way that informs and drives the organization to action.

People Analytics Responsibilities

- Consult with the HR Management Team, global HR BPs and Field HR on people analytics and deliver focused analyses to create insights about the workforce and to derive business decisions

- Be able to tell a story with data; offer leadership different ways of interpreting analytical findings and recommend best practice

- Develop predictive models for e.g., attrition, high performance, and recruiting demand

- Develop, own and optimize existing HR reports (e.g. HR Scorecard, HR Dashboard, etc.) to drive meaningful business results

- Manipulate and analyze large datasets using analytic features of multiple tools

- Identify statistical analysis techniques required to deliver insights.

- Advance the use of complex analytical techniques and statistical thinking across Human Resources

- Participate in cross-functional project teams and provide guidance and training to teams in asking appropriate questions, interpreting data, and translating into action.

- Develop and maintain appropriate benchmarks with other organizations.

- Source internal and external data to enhance analytic capabilities

- Partner with technical resources to further automate and optimize workforce reports and dashboards

Employee Survey Responsibilities

- Work as US and regional Global Employee Survey project manager to ensure successful launch of respective survey

- Evaluate and coordinate employee survey and propose survey solutions

- Perform survey result analysis and reporting analytics results

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**

+ Bachelors degree

+ 8+ years of related experience

+ Demonstrated ability to build statistical models needed to understand issues at a detailed level and forecast impacts of change

+ Deep interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends

+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

+ Knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Workday etc.) andreporting functionalities

+ Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts and output to non-experts in both a written and verbal manner

+ Critical thinking skills in formulating hypotheses, interpreting results, and being able to make educated guesses when data may be sparse or unavailable

+ Intellectual curiosity and ability to handle high levels of ambiguity

+ Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines

+ Ability to anticipate problems and opportunities and the initiative to pursue solutions

+ Ability to speak Spanish is a plus

+ Attention to detail

**Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**

Preferred skills in addition to the required skills include:

+ Experience with Microsoft Access database

+ Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence

+ Experience with data visualization tool (Tableau etc.)

+ Experience with Human Capital Analytics, management science, business strategy, behavior and trend analytics
