**Job Description:**







Position Overview



The Order Management Supervisor is an exciting position at the heart of our supply chain between our customers and our manufacturing and distribution centers. The position is responsible for leadership of a team of twelve employees that enter customer purchase orders and reconcile electronic order errors. This team plays a critical role by ensuring that orders are entered and errors are resolved to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Our supply chain consists of an international network of manufacturing and distribution facilities supplying a mix of standard and configured power distribution and controls products. This position is located at our business unit headquarters, offering access to many different business functions and leaders enabling various career progression paths.

Responsibilities



Create an effective team environment that breeds innovation to increase customer value.



Grow team members by coaching and providing learning and development opportunities.



Gather, organize and analyze data for performance monitoring and decision making.



Create and improve processes to surpass customer expectations.



Develop mid-term team strategic priorities and execute short-term tactical plans.



Conduct team resource planning, staffing, training, communication and performance management.



Collaborate effectively with customers, sales, product management, pricing and various other business functions.







Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience



1. Bachelor's degree



2. Experience in a supply chain management functional area related to order execution (manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, distribution, etc.).



3. Proven success as a leader of teams with or without formal supervisory authority.



4. Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate and manage others to achieve business results.



5. Experience utilizing SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) or material requirements planning (MRP) systems.



6. Strong knowledge of supply chain operations functions and processes (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return). Demonstrated ability to effectively gather, organize and analyze data using MS Office or other applications.



7. Excellent communication, time management and organization skills.







Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience



1. Supply chain management education (APICS, CPM or other).



2. Proven success as a leader with formal supervisory authority. Application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management and disciplinary action.



3. Process improvement or quality management experience or education (Six Sigma, Lean, ASQ).



4. Knowledge of the Siemens organization, businesses and processes.
