**Role Value Proposition:**







In support of Global Operations for MetLife, provide technical expertise performing day to day application changes within the Distributed Scheduling environment. Provide technical support in the development and implementation of our International and Domestic scheduling environments. Assist our global partners with technical expertise related to their critical batch processing. Willingness/ability to provide off-hours support 24/7 as needed to achieve customer SLAs







**Key Responsibilities:**







+ Provides direct support on all batch-scheduling changes. Coordinate and implement batch scheduling on new and existing projects for the QA/Development and Production environments.



+ Provide functional product support for Scheduling Software.



+ Provide technical troubleshooting of scheduling and scheduling software. Escalate accordingly.



+ Enforces adherence to existing production support operational readiness standards



+ Maintaining focus on customer satisfaction through process improvement, workflow automation, and two-way communications.







**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**







Required:







+ 3+ years Operations and/or Engineering experience.







+ ADP or equivalent certification preferred, or must be obtained within 6 months of employment (US citizenship is a requirement for certification)



+ Willingness/ability to provide off-hours support 24/7 as needed to achieve customer SLAs



+ Proficient in the technical capabilities of scheduling and automation tools



+ Working knowledge of application and infrastructure components as they relate to distributed scheduling



+ Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux and Windows OS and other tools used in support of the distributed production process.



+ Ability to enforce and adhere to IT RISK Policies and Controls



+ Ability to enforce and adhere to Incident, Problem and Change processes and controls







Preferred:







+ Strong customer service focus



+ Requires good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.



+ Project Management skills
