Network Support Analyst

**Role Value Proposition:**

This role provides troubleshooting and support to various LAN/WAN networking technologies, respond to complex problems escalated by the help desk and Operations staff pertaining to all network related hardware and software products supported by IT. This role will also require an in-depth knowledge of DNS, DHCP solutions and implementations. Ability to understand load balancing concepts and able to assist with application troubleshooting. The team member will be working in an Enterprise environment supporting over 65,000 users from all over the globe.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Responds to problems escalated by the help desk and Operations staff pertaining to all network related hardware and software products supported by IT.

+ Works with vendors and other Network Operations staff in the identification and resolution of complex network problems.

+ Able to identify and explain various technology solutions to our AD partners and assist them in selecting which is optimal for the business application in question.

+ Understanding of DNS and DHCP implementation and process.

+ Partners with client and development area management in developing systems specifications, technical implementation plans and coordinates complex installation projects working with staff, clients and network engineers.

+ Ability to run reports, and network monitoring.

+ Participates in the evaluation of vendor proposals, help conduct network studies and traffic analysis, and recommendations to the network configuration to reduce cost or improve service.

**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**


+ 3+ years IT experience such as operations and/or programming.

+ Networking background, strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, and LAN/WAN Routing and Switching.

+ Ability to act independent of management direction in a crisis.

+ Requires good consultative and communication skills, analytical ability, and the ability to work with client, IT management, staff and vendors.


+ Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field

+ CCNA or equivalent experience certification preferred.

+ Load Balancer experience
