**Job Description:**

Siemens Postal, Parcel and Airport Logistics is in search of an experienced Network Architect located at the DFW Airport location. The candidate must provide high level network design and implementation skills and combine technical intelligence with communication and presentation abilities. Candidate must be an individual contributor capable of self-directed work showing strong leadership and client relationship skills and who is focused on driving the complete network project.

Key Responsibilities:

Guides very complex research, design, development and implementation of new and emerging

technologies, platforms and service.

Researches and advises on an existing or emerging technology and associated services and processes.

Develops very complex requirements plans, solution selection and implementing solutions driven from the Strategic Plan.

Conducts analysis in support of a very complex technical architecture project.

Develops very complex product configuration guidelines, training, rollout and implementation support for technical architecture projects.

Independently performs advanced areas of work for the professional field.

Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently.

Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems.

Provide third tier support and escalation point for all network and infrastructure functions switching, routing, wireless, client management, Active Directory Infrastructure, Exchange, Office 365, SCCM, etc.

Provide back-up support for SAP demand management functions.

Provide back-up support for FICO / HR tools.

Design, architect, and manage network infrastructure that best supports business initiatives

Collaborate with Technical Architects in network and other systems design

Perform network assessments

Lead cross-functional teams to define technical solutions

Investigate and resolve IT infrastructure tickets

Participate in on-call rotation

Other duties and projects as assigned


BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of

education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successful

completion of complex assignments.

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.

Demonstrates significant knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.

Typically 5-8 of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of.

Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.

Primarily intra-organizational contacts and external contacts.

Provide specialized guidance or train support and/or professional staff.

Leadership qualities and role model qualities demonstrated.
