**Job Description:**

Position Overview:

Siemens Pomona is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support their plant. This person performs functions associated with all manufacturing and/or maintenance operations.

This person will report to the Manufacturing Manager and will have no direct reports.

- Supports manufacturing related studies and processes.

- Gathers and records production information; enters data into internal computer systems.

- Participates in repairing and retesting for product and/or manufacturing facilities.

- Helps develop estimates of requirements arising from process changes.

- Resolves manufacturing or maintenance related problems affecting daily operations.

- May participate in technical problem solving/troubleshooting support to a manufacturing environment.

- Participates in troubleshooting for machine operations to determine parameters for improving efficiency in a production


- Performs work within technical or paraprofessional area.

- Effectively identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is

not difficult or complex. Refers complex, unusual problems to others.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

- Associates degree or 1-2 years of vocational technical training preferred. HS diploma or equivalent required.

- Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing environment with experience in developing and/or maintaining systems associated with production processes, flow, equipment and communications.

- Lean concepts, basic shop math, CAD preferred.

- Basic computer skills , and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools
