Position Description:
Collaborates with ONE Gas communications department to deliver the asset inventories, plans, and programs.
Based on accumulated inputs, this position delivers asset strategies relating to Long-Term Plans for Capital and O&M.
Accountable for establishing, facilitating and monitoring the asset strategy planning and reporting processes. 
Collaborate with the enterprise functional teams to maintain the balance between O&M and Capital strategies.  
Ensure that asset strategies are in alignment with rate base recovery, enterprise objectives and governance framework.
Communicate and report the health, risk, and inventory trends to the enterprise based on asset strategy alternatives.
Ensure that asset strategies are clearly understood and effectively communicated from Field Personnel through Executive Leadership.
Develops and maintains Strategic Asset Management Plan and the Asset Management Risk Management Framework.
Collaborate with Asset, Investment, and Portfolio Planning to ensure enterprise capital strategies are maintained.
Establish and maintain the Asset Strategy Team, including resourcing.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
Preferred Registered Professional Engineer 
Preferred Bachelor's Degree engineering plus job-related experience as follows:
Experience developing asset strategies for Utilities.
Knowledge of Capital and O&M budget formulation.  
Ability to translate current asset information into reliable asset strategies.
Previous experience interpreting technical material, construction drawings, maps, governmental regulations, and legal decisions.
Ability to evaluate accumulated inputs, consider alternatives, select, present, implement, and iterate actionable strategies for execution.
Provide guidance on applying the asset strategy framework.
Provide guidance and input on growth versus rehabilitation capital.
Decide if proposed asset strategies will fulfill OGS objectives.
Revise asset strategies based on changes to objectives. 
Determines weighting of strategic objectives with respect to the Asset Risk Management Framework.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Minimum Applicable driver's license. Requires travel to other company offices and facilities and to job sites.
Mobility to travel in and around plant and office facilities and around job sites out of doors.
Able to operate tools and equipment required.
Communicate and/or exchange information; conduct oral presentations.
Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
