**Job Description:**







**Position Overview**







The Manager, Business Development OEM Production Machines leads a team that is responsible for the go-to-market activities related to defined OEM production machinery market segments incorporating motion and automation products. Specifically, it includes the following functions and areas of responsibility:







Business Development for defined OEM Verticals (e.g. Converting, Packaging, Plastics)



Business Development for other OEMs as per defined account lists







The position reports directly to the Director of Business Development - OEM/Solutions in Digital Factory - Factory Automation.







**Responsibilities**







Creates go-to-market strategies and business plans for the assigned OEM segments with products and solutions







Oversees the execution of business plans and programs in collaboration with OEM sales management to ensure achievement of assigned business goals



Manages BD team resources to optimize revenues and maximize efficiencies in collaboration with field sales management and partner BUs



Engages department resources in closing business in assigned segments



Responsible for opportunity pipeline tracking and reporting of assigned OEM accounts







**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**







BS/BA in engineering, computer science or business; advanced degree preferred, but not required Minimum 5 years of management experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development or Engineering



Solid knowledge of motion/drive/automation technology and relevant markets; experience in deploying technology through marketing and/or engineering roles



Proven track record in business plan execution and cross BU collaboration



Strong customer, solution selling and negotiation skills



Excellent presentation skills







Prior management experience in leading a team
