Life Financial and Inforce Analyst I

**Job Location:** United States: Warwick, Rhode Island

**Job Summary:**

In this role you will perform duties related to life insurance policies. You will be responsible for responses to direct inquiries form policyholders, sales brokers, and call center operations regarding a wide range of financial and legal issues. Provide interpretation of policy provisions regarding estate planning, insurance statutes, state tax laws and multiple various functions.

**Functional Responsibilities:**

+ Receives reviews and responds to requests for Loans, Surrenders, Reinstatements, and Withdrawals; ensures compliance for Regulation 60, Replacements and 1035 exchange cases.

+ Performs all related correspondence transactions, including department of insurance complaints and all complaints from customers and brokers.

+ Provides direction and assistance to customers requiring in-depth knowledge of policy contracts, benefits plans, provisions, conversions, tax laws, etc.

+ Performs research and analytical work to provide accurate, timely and suitable responses to inquiries.

+ Follows through as necessary to finalize any changes resulting from completed transactions.

+ Partners with other business units to ensure successful implementation of corporate initiatives.

+ Corresponds with sales brokers, external insurance carriers, and other departments regarding pending cases.

+ Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**

+ High school diploma

+ 2-4 years relevant business experience

+ Working knowledge of life insurance products and applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines

+ Strong written and verbal communication.

+ Detail oriented

+ Adaptable to change

+ Able to multi task

+ Able to work in a face pace environment

+ Quality driven
