**Role Value Proposition:**







The Corporate Systems IT Tools team supports applications and tools that run the business of information technology at MetLife. This includes, but is not limited to: IT Risk and Security, Business Resiliency, Identity and Access Management and Inventory & Application Portfolio Management.







**Key Responsibilities:**







+ Requirements elicitation and definition for a diverse portfolio supporting the business of IT.



+ Lead requirements gathering.Gathers, reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs.



+ Convert requirements into use and test cases.



+ Participates in fit/gap analysis of functional requirements.



+ Functional documentation design (epics, stories, use cases, functional specifications, reports, prototypes).



+ Act as a primary liaison between business users and application development project\technical leads.



+ Manage User Acceptance Testing and training for the stakeholders.



+ Manage user expectations and requirements scope.



+ Development of user guides, reference manuals, training materials and code release artifacts.



+ Participate in change management activities



+ Works with project leads to ensure compliance to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and to ensure the solution is delivered.



+ Provides estimates for project timelines, planning and for on-going forecasting.



+ Assist in fulfilling SOX and other compliance requests.



+ Ongoing interaction with senior management.



+ Coordinates and reports on project progress and accomplishments.



+ Performs related duties as assigned or requested.







**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**







+ Excellent oral and written communications, planning, interpersonal and time management skill



+ 5+ years of business systems analysis, functional design and data architecture



+ 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams



+ 5+ years formal System Development Life Cycle processes (Agile and Waterfall)







+ 3+ years with requirement tools. Preferably Blueprint, iRise and Team Foundation Server (TFS)



+ Strong client facing and relationship building skills



+ Ability to work independently and keep projects on track



+ Experience adapting to an environment with periodic changing of business priorities



+ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
