**Job Description:**

**Position overview:**

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Business Consultant who will partner with our Healthineers Point of Care (POC), Supply Chain Management (SCM) Organization located in Elkhart Indiana. The Human Resources Generalist will have the ability to understand our business, our strategy and our mission to deliver integrated Human Resources management services and programs. Although this position will reside in the Elkhart Plant, there will be some coverage required in our Mishawaka Indiana Plant and in the near future this position will transition to the Mishawaka Plant.

**Key Responsibilities:**

The HR Business Consultant will manage, administer and implement all aspects of HR including labor relations, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation, staffing and other related HR programs and functions.

This individual will partner with site management in a consultative capacity to drive the employee dimensions of the business strategy while being an advocate for employees.

**In this role, the HRBC will:**

Be responsible for the day-to-day administration, communication, implementation and adherence of HR policies and programs including administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Ensure appropriate and consistent application of Siemens Healthineers operating policies and procedures.

Advises management regarding semi-complex EEO, federal, and state employment laws and compliance issues.

Conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions.

Resolve employee relations issues.

Guides coordination and facilitation of staffing of the organization to ensure its efficient operation.

Partner with the Business leadership team to increase focus on performance management to maximize employee contributions and to proactively address performance issues.

As required, lead or participate on project teams to develop new policies, programs or tools within the company.

Provide a full range of human resources and operational support to the organization.

Partner with the organization by actively participating in managing the business and integrating the human resources function with business activities to provide value to the customer.

Facilitate implementation of change management initiatives and partner with the leadership team to effectively communicate business strategies, goals, values and performance expectations.

As needed, partner with areas outside of Elkhart/Mishawaka in support of company-wide HR programs and initiatives.

Some travel required 5%

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:**

BS/BA in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. PHR certification a plus.

Minimum 2-5 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above.

Labor relations background and direct experience in administration of collective bargaining agreement is a plus.

Skills and expertise in employee relations, problem solving and conflict resolution are vital.

Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels is essential.
