**Position Overview**

Siemens PLM Software is seeking a Global Marketing Operations Data Steward to define the strategy for, and ensure the execution of, initiatives related to data quality, data unification and data access. This role is strategically focused on the governance and management of data and how it can be leveraged to drive accurate performance measurement and more effective marketing. This role reports to the Director of Global Marketing Operations and requires close collaboration with the Global Marketing Business Analyst and other members of the global marketing operations, field marketing, product marketing, sales operations, demand center, and IT teams.


Define the strategic agenda for marketing data management

Prioritize initiatives and maintain a roadmap for data management improvements

Define the data acquisition strategy to ensure that desired levels of breadth and quality are achieved

Work with other functions (e.g. sales operations, IT) to develop a broader master data management strategy

Establish ongoing coordination with the Global Digital Demand Center (GDMC), Campaign Strategy, Campaign Lifecycle Management (CLM), Sales Operations and IT teams to ensure visibility into changes to data and architecture

Create the measurement plan for data management, including database readiness metrics and metrics that capture the impact of database readiness on downstream marketing processes

Communicate data management status, progress and success

Develop and govern global standards and process improvements for managing suspect to close process in Salesforce.com

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**

Bachelors degree, ideally in computer science, marketing or business

Five or more years of data management leadership experience

Extensive experience working with complex Salesforce.com data models

Proven experience driving data quality initiatives, joining data from disparate systems and finding new ways to provide data consumers with easy access to the information they need

Experience capturing and managing business requirements for cross-functional teams

Ability to work with business owners and data consumers to define data and reporting requirements

Ability to provide a vision and act as an advocate for data management and adherence to global processes

Roadmapping and prioritization

Strong written and verbal communication skills



Strong leader

High level of attention to detail

Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional and matrixed environment

**Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**

Experience with data connections between Eloqua marketing automation platform and Salesforce.com sales automation platform

Experience connecting data sources and developing reports in Tableau

Familiarity with the SiriusDecisions Demand Waterfall, Aligned Measurement Framework and Campaign Framework
