**Job Description:**

**Position Overview**

Siemens Industry is looking for a Financial Analyst for their Raleigh, NC location. This person will perform performance controlling and reporting in compliance with US-GAAP/IFRS and other internal guidelines for Siemens Energy Management Transformer Business Unit USA (EM TR)


1. Reporting for TR cost centers and projects.

2. Perform plan vs. actual variance analysis on a monthly basis and support monthly forecasting processes.

3. Support the month end closing through journal entries, analysis and reporting.

4. Provide support during the annual business planning or budgeting processes

5. Support all aspects of asset controlling ( Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations etc.)..

6. Provide financial support in the area of project controlling.

7. Forecast monthly outlook for year for business segments and consolidation of the business unit in Hyperion

8. Backlog reporting and reconciliations, PCA-COPA reconciliations

9. Headcount reporting

10. Reporting of monthly & quarterly Risks / Opportunities

11. Analysis and commentary of monthly results P&L, FCF & Headcount

12. Track open AR and coordinate necessary actions with Management and/or credit & collections

13. Support month end accounting closing (determine necessary project accruals/reserves, etc.)

14. System reconciliations SAP/ESPRIT & SAP/Hyperion

15. Support/charge-out of quarterly activity for inter-co SLAs

16. Support Business Performance Controlling within BU HQ and USA Division

17. Support all internal/external audit requests

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**

1. BS/BA in a related discipline

2. 2+ years previous experience in Financial Reporting, Analysis, and Planning with

emphasis on Cost Center and/or Project Controlling.

3. Background & experience with data mining utilizing SAP (FI/CO/PS) and Hyperion Essbase preferred.

4. Outstanding data and information management skills. Ability to understand detailed data analysis and provide

recommendations to stakeholders.

5. Highly organized with ability to self-manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

6. Solid business acumen and ability to interact and communicate with all levels of management within the Business Unit.

7. Proven capabilities in driving standardization of financial processes and continuous process and performance


8. Ability to effectively manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast paced environment.

9. Proficient in MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

10. Familiarity with US-GAAP and IFRS

11. Moderate to Advanced Knowledge of POC Accounting and New Collaboration Model

12. Experience working in cross functional Teams
