The Investment Operations Analyst will be responsible for performing the daily, monthly and yearend activities in our US office to support the North America business unit. Candidates must possess the broad knowledge and understanding of trading operations, investment instruments, management reporting and related data needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Calculate, validate and process settlements with various external counterparties and custody banks.

+ Interact with MetLife Front and Middle office to obtain all information necessary to perform securities operations functions, such as trade confirmations & settlement notifications and operational cash entries

+ Work with the centralized reconciliation teams to resolve reconciliation breaks occurring in portfolios managed within the region.

+ Maintain the integrity of investment information in the system and make adjustments as needed.

+ Perform Reconciliations and research outages discovered during the process.

+ Perform Corporate Actions operations and data management.

+ Create and distribute internal investment reporting.

+ Support regional implementation efforts of processing data-management platforms and associated governance programs.

+ Work with team members across the organization to understand, identify and address issues or opportunities that lead to effective support processes and improvements in quality of services.

**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**

+ Ability to work independently and within a small team.

+ Strong understanding of investment operations support, reporting, data integrity and fixed income and equity securities analytics.

+ Advanced problem solving abilities and communication skills.

+ Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.

+ Experience with Aladdin, MUREX, Bloomberg or other Investment or Banking platforms is a plus.


+ Excellent communication skills

+ 2+ years relevant experience in Financial Services industry, Capital Markets and Investment Products (Fixed Income & equity securities).

+ Ability and willingness to work in collaborative environment


+ Business Administration or BS in Accounting, Finance, or IT related field.

+ PAM, PODS, Aladdin, Frontier, online banking portal software a plus.

+ Ability to manage competing priorities
