**Job Description:**

**Position Overview**

**_"Are you ready to lead Sacramento Engineering in localizing the SAP/KCM related workflow independent of Europe. In your spare time you will still design and create the exciting Railway products for our Customers."_**

This is a snapshot of what the job entails.

+ Lead engineer responsible for the workflow and checking provided the European KCM group for locomotive product.

+ Designing various aspects or parts of the trains.

+ Working in design teams to meet deadlines and deliver superior product.

+ Direct interface to PCM for the releasing of design packages for locomotive product.


These are the tasks that must be carried out by the person in this job.

+ Will be the lead engineer responsible for the workflow of SAP design release packages through KCM. Mainly for locomotive projects.

+ Will be trained to be the local KCM representative in Sacramento reviewing all release packages.

+ Will work independently doing various designs or parts of the trains from the concept through to the detail design, procurement and manufacturing phases.

+ Work with Pro-E and related tools, workflows and engineering processes.

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**

The following knowledge/skills, education, and experiences are required to be considered for this position.

+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Preferred.

+ Proficiency in Pro-E with a minimum of ten years experience.

+ Three to five years Rolling Stock Experience. In particular, Siemens locomotive experience.

+ Proficient with SAP and related release processes for Locomotive design packages.

+ Familiar with KCM and related workflows.
