**Job Description:**







**Siemens US Talent Acquisition**







The Siemens Energy - Fossil Service Group for Turbine Generator Specialty Support has an upcoming need for an Engineering student onsite in Penn Hall (Pittsburgh, PA). Local candidates are preferred for this position; Relocation assistance is not available. This intern will begin in January 2018.







RESPONSIBILITIES:







o Will support Penn Hall tooling development.







o Works closely with Penn Hall tooling design and Project Engineers







o Develops field tooling and procedures for Generator and Turbine Services Product Lines.







o Will have input on more complex, strategic product line offerings.







This position allows for the learning and development in the following areas:







o 3D modeling







o Design using Key Creator software







o Concept to Completion project management.







REQUIRED EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:







o High School graduate or GED.







o Currently enrolled Junior or Senior in college pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering







o Current GPA of 3.0 or higher.







REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:







o Strong attention to detail.







o Engineering related major.







o STEM related curriculum.







o Strong communication skills; able to clearly and concisely express information (or data) to non-technical associates, peers and management.







o Aptitude to learn and work with multiple system technologies.







o Working experience with CAD Software.







o Strong Microsoft Windows suite knowledge (Excel, Visio, PPT, Word etc.).







o Ability to prioritize and multitask - flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for projects or assignments.







o Ability to work well independently and on teams.







o Reliability.
