**Position Overview**







Responsibilities include working with sales, other energy engineers, and project managers to develop cost-effective performance based contracts for targeted clients.







**Responsibilities**







Perform Utility Data Analysis by entering utility billing information, understanding the information contained on the bills, and having the ability to analyze this information vs. accepted standards.







Perform preliminary and detailed facility audits to identify facility improvement measures (FIMs). Participate in facility site visits using observational skills to collect required data to perform engineering calculations. Analyzes blue prints in conjunction with site surveys to identify mechanical, electrical, and control systems and determine facility operational characteristics and potential FIMs to be investigated.







Install metering equipment to gather true equipment usage information when necessary.







Perform basic energy savings calculations,making educated assumptions when applicable and using / interpreting data gathered from the field to estimate savings.







Has the ability to present design concepts to others for budget pricing development.







Develops design concepts and other written technical documentation to sales, management, and funding agencys concerning recommended FIMs, including accurate descriptions, savings potential, and back up data to verify FIMs.







Prepares the application for governmental incentive funds, coordinates with associated consultants, and develops all documentation for final incentive collection.







Work independently in the development, implementation, and ongoing support of performance contracts and proposals. Independently coordinates and leads facility site visits and communicates with outside subcontractors as it pertains to FIM calculations and documentation.







Utilize building simulation, program to develop energy, cooling, and heating load-building models.







Understands and evaluates more complex energy opportunities such as supply side savings, unique energy sources, trash management, water conservation, and co-generation for inclusion into performance contracts.







Requirements include the investigation and evaluation of new technologies, processes, and products, and managing subcontracts and relationships with client personnel.







Develop performance contracting contracts utilizing standard company templates and or customers templates as required.







Prepares financial models related to payment utilizing savings and costs determined, with an understanding of ROI, life cycle costing and internal rate of return.







Assist in developing performance assurance plans for the ongoing support of projects.







**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**







Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other related field.







Experience in Energy 2 years







Strong working knowledge of MS Excel required.

Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.



Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.







**Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**







EIT or PE preferred







Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or ability to obtain preferred
