Electrical Engineer



Why this role?



We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer working within our Order Engineering & Logistics business (OEL) in Mascot, NSW. You will provide technical electrical engineering support to our New Installation and Modernization business units. Your key focus will be to provide electrical engineering design and technical support on equipment such as elevators, escalators and autowalks. You will provide detailed electrical engineering support with a focus on technically & financially accurate pricing and designs to support KONE's core activities.



What will you be doing?



Apply a systems engineering approach to determine customer needs and requirements and develop requirement and functional performance specifications

Develop & support product solutions in line with market requirements.

Identify Standards, Codes of Practice and Regulations which form the certification basis for electrical design tasks

Provide detailed electrical engineering design, calculations and technical support

Design, review and check electrical design products including system design, calculations, drawings and reports

Prepare and support technically & financially accurate pricing and design tools to support sales & installation.

Design and document electrical specifications/services

Equipment testing and commissioning.

Become an integral part of the Quality and feedback teams.

Are you the one?



Self-motivated and goal orientated with a customer focus

Current Electrical license

Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or similar

Demonstrated working knowledge of AS3000

Minimum 2 years of general electrical engineering practice

Strong PC skills, in particular MS office products & AutoCad

Strong analytical skills, particularly in understanding electrical circuits

Experience with VBA or similar programming languages

Understanding of LAN networks & components

Understand the product delivery chain so that timely and accurate designs are delivered
