**Role Value Proposition:**







MetLifes Director of Enterprise Human Resources Information Technology Systems is responsible for partnering with Sr. HR leaders, third party vendors and IT Executives and their respective organizations, to lead global continuous improvement projects and annual event with the goal of attracting, developing and retaining top talent across the organization. Specifically this position will be responsible for managing an IT team of direct and non-direct reports leveraging Oracle HCM and SuccessFactors cloud based solutions in the areas of global compensation planning, talent management, learning and recruiting.







**Key Responsibilities:**







+ Lead the Global Deploy of MetLifes Enterprise Compensation Planning system (Base, Bonus, LTI) leveraging Oracles HCM Compensation offering to 45 countries in multiple languages with integration to third party vendors (Fidelity) as well as the delivery operational reports.



+ Lead the global expansion and where necessary redesign of MetLifes Global Talent, Recruiting and Learning management systems complete with integration to MetLifes HR and Enterprise Portal and Mobile offerings.



+ Proven Experience building a business case w/ ROI and managing multiple global system initiatives concurrently, including implementations, and upgrades, where coordination of IT activities across the enterprise, region and country organizations is critical to success.



+ Management of agile business and IT application development projects where there are cross team dependencies but not necessarily a direct reporting relationship for all participants.



+ Defines and oversees the delivery of performance based metrics and client-driven operational reporting for key initiatives and annual events.



+ Maintains knowledge of HR industry trends and communicates knowledge of risks, opportunities and services available to build a competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness across the portfolio. Demonstrated ability to articulate and present these benefits to senior IT and Business Executives







**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**







**Required:**







+ Excellent verbal and written skills as well as a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, Industrial and Labor Relations or other related field, or equivalent work experience.



+ 10+ years of broad IT experience, including application development, architecture, risk management, and operations.



+ 5+ years of experience managing teams requiring full people management responsibility, including hiring, termination, promotions, performance, compensation management, training and development.



+ Extensive knowledge of agile software development life cycle, infrastructure solutions and services and IT portfolio and program management.



+ Demonstrated customer relationship, communications and presentation skills.







+ Demonstrated experience in the area of project financial management, including budget, forecasting, and financial planning activities.



+ Ensure that Data Privacy and Audit Standards are met for all system deploys and annual events.







**Preferred:**







+ Proven Experience with Oracle HCM (Compensation), SuccessFactors Talent Management, Degreed and other third party SAAS HR Solutions



+ Ability to manage systems testing including unit, QA, end to end and user acceptance testing



+ Proven technical capabilities with online and mobile delivery, and usability concepts and integration solutions such as Informatica as well as indirect management of a Quality Assurance Team.



+ Strong working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure (Active Directory, Siteminder SSO) as well as the management of teams who you are dependent upon but do not have a direct reporting relationship with.



+ Experience negotiating contracts and SLAs with Vendors as well as managing vendors to SLAs.



+ Demonstrated experience identifying cost saving initiatives to reduce/control expenses.



+ Experience in the management of IT Risk, Audit and Compliance activities related to the implementation and maintenance of HR Systems.



+ Proven experience collaborating with peers to establish best practices and consistently high service levels.



+ Experience with MS Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and related project delivery utilities.
