**Job Description:**

**Position Overview**

As the Director of Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Enablement, you are responsible for implementing complex interventions to improve quality, reduce cost, and enhance efficiency related to diagnosis. The Director of CDS will work closely with the Medical Director as well engage directly with Engineering, Clinical Analytics and Client Teams to support clients through their build, testing and go-live events.

In this critical role, you will act as an advisor to senior management and business partners on advanced clinical and technical matters related to implementation methodologies, indication concept development, and implementation of interventions within the companys CDS platform. You will also play an active role in supporting the management of customer collaboration sites for the development of new product offerings.

This role will functionally report to the Medical Director, Clinical Decision Support.


This role is very tactical in nature and will have a significant impact on the overall success of the CDS business. Your specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

+ Management of implementation teams responsible for value-based diagnostics (VBD) initiatives

+ Refine implementation methodologies to enable scaling and generalization to other VBD initiatives

+ Work closely with Product Management to develop product roadmaps and feature requirements

+ Assist clients with project planning, to include the facilitation of team meetings, tracking of enhancement requests, planning of site visits, and assistance with workflow analysis

+ Lead testing efforts with clients, including the development of testing documents

+ Collaborate on the development and refinement of indication concepts and mapping to indications

+ Collaborate on the development and maintenance of clinical ontologies and intervention builds

+ Assist with the maintenance of source material such as the Choosing Wisely and HMS Library of Medicine

+ Accountability for end-user training documentation.

+ Aid in the creation and maintenance of documentation required under the PLM process, and

+ Assume shared responsibility for overall success of a particular project or initiative

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**

+ A Masters Degree in a clinically-oriented discipline, or equivalent clinical background

+ The successful candidate will have 10+ years of healthcare informatics experience

+ Substantial experience leading complex innovation initiatives

+ You must have deep knowledge of electronic health records and physician workflows

+ You must have strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements to support product development

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary

+ It is important to be flexible, with the ability to productively deal with ambiguity
