The Channels & Integration team is at the forefront of the Digital Strategy at Metlife, developing world-class customer platforms that enable marketing, distribution and servicing globally. The IT Relationship Specialist role will facilitate strategic planning and portfolio management across the Channels & Integration department under the Digital Office in Global Technology & Operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Manage $100M IT portfolio budget across 5 departments, including all financial planning, monitoring and reporting, conducting detailed performance analysis and ensuring sound financial management across the portfolio.

+ Lead execution of key enterprise, PMO and financial programs across the organization, including workforce planning, resource management, business case development, operational efficiency capture, etc.

+ Spearhead program to define and implement business value and adoption metrics/KPIs across multiple global platforms; manage roadmap to operationalize metrics and demonstrate business value.

+ Drive and implement process improvement and efficiency efforts for department operations, project management and reporting methods.

+ Partners closely with Finance, PMO and a large network of program and project managers to provide leadership and guidance on instilling project management rigor and best practices throughout the portfolio and organization.

**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**


+ Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to gain wide consensus and advance change at all levels of the organization.

+ Detail oriented with strong financial analysis and MS Excel skills

+ No formal supervisory responsibilities, but requires ability to lead, motivate and provide direction to team members that are not direct reports.

+ Accomplished project/program management leader, able to operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment.

+ Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities

+ 8+ years experience in organizational operations, portfolio management, financial compliance and communication strategy, in a technical environment.

+ Experience managing complex budgets and P&L.


+ Possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.

+ Extensive knowledge of software development life cycle, infrastructure products and services and IT portfolio and program management.

+ 2-3 years of experience partnering with Global teams and participating in transformational initiatives

+ Bachelor or Masters degree in a related technology discipline.
