Digital Marketing Manager - Platform Strategy

Main Job Responsibilities:

Leads the strategic and day to day development of Abbott’s Vascular website, mobile properties and CRM programs in support of business goals.

Website/Mobile app production:

  • Leads the development of cross-division, cross-site website and mobile strategy and tactics to grow Abbott’s Vascular business
  • Identifies opportunities to expand website and mobile innovation and to effectively leverage existing capabilities across divisions
  • Monitors website and analytics to yield actionable insights to help shape strategy and direction
  • Leverage standardized templates within the CMS to shorten set up time and save cost for emails or landing pages
  • Support IT related business operational tasks e.g. domain management, DNS updates, SSL cert, recertification, email setup etc.
  • Review and propose updates for DOPs and Corporate policies to improve compliance on digital properties

    CRM Programs:

    • Develops and manages CRM programs with a focus on deepening engagement with key target audiences and improving the value of customer relationships
    • Manages the execution of short and long term objectives and tactical plans relating to website and CRM in close collaboration with Abbott corporate and cross division teams
    • Provide guidance and checklist on email best practice to enhance performance
    • Evaluate opportunities for CRM and recommend tactics to build customer database and increase engagements
    • Manage and optimize Marketo platform and processes to ensure operational best practices are followed
    • Evaluate, recommend and support system (e.g. Salesforce, CVENT) integration feasibility and benefits
    • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of related work experience with a complete understanding of specified functional area, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced degree preferred.   Minimum 5 years of work experience in web design / development and digital marketing. (Technical/Business Knowledge (Job Skills)): Proficient with web content management systems (CMS). Experience with building, managing and maintaining global corporate websites. Mobile app development / technologies / platforms knowledge.

      • Comprehensive knowledge and application business concepts, procedures and practices.

      • Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
