Job Details

• Drafter needed for designing off-shore drilling rigs.  Candidates should be able to develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
• Candidates should also be able to review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed. Design scale or full-size blueprints of specialty items such as furniture and automobile body or chassis components. Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus! Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production and of the practical application of engineering science and technology are key.
   
• 2-6 month contract.  Pay will be based on experience, around $20-22 p/h.
