**Job Description:**

The digital strategist leads the problem solving charge connecting the dots between business, brand and marketing goals and the channels, tactics and technologies that make it all come together to provide actionable results. A successful candidate must be a pattern seeker and dot-connector. Looks for and identifies patterns through analytics, technology trends, audience insights and brand strategies. Connects the dots by architecting digital strategies that are influenced by the line of business and marketing objectives. Once the pattern and strategies are identified helps the business to translate into idea generation and actionable insights. Partners directly with all members of the Demand Generation team, line of business marketing representatives, communications and sales teams to ensure strategies are effectively implemented and measured.

The digital strategist analyzes and provides recommendations for improvement for all data points generated that represent marketing revenue. This role determines what should be measured, designs dashboards for reporting performance and reports directly to the business the picture that the data represents and recommendations for how to improve. Understands the challenges from a business perspective and works to identify ways to knock down barriers and develop win-win situations for strategic implementation. Works within all lines of the Demand Generation team to identify and close any gaps in data. Ensure that proper data is collected, analyzed and acted upon across all lines of business.

Primary Responsibilities:

Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently.

Establishes and maintains agency relationships. Coordinates advertising strategies for digital and traditional placement

Provides recommendations for program and campaign performance and improvement

Uses analytics from web analytics, marketing automation and CRM tools to analyze marketing performance.

Identifies gaps in data and recommends process improvements to improve data integrity

Works directly with and educates the business on the picture presented by the data and identify actionable items to help improve marketing revenue performance

Maintains automated reporting tools and platforms

Develops and oversees reporting strategies

Role based dashboard design

Works with all members of the demand generation team to ensure targets are met and execute strategical changes in digital properties to optimize performance

Supports program management in identifying effective, multichannel marketing tactics that leverage strengths of digital channels and technologies that will support program objectives.

Works with businesses to identify content development strategies that support target audience objectives and demand generation efforts

Skills / Qualifications:

8 years+ experience in the fields of marketing, online marketing, analytics or online advertising

BS/BA degree required, in Marketing, Communications or related concentration

Strong understanding of Sirius Decisions practices and reporting of the demand waterfall

Robust understanding of traditional and digital marketing, mobile, social and other web spaces

Robust understanding of current and emerging digital trends, channels, platforms and technologies

Some knowledge of businesses work in an enterprise environment

SEO / SEM Optimization

Web presence strategy development

User experience design

Site structure development

Digital media, Online / offline integration

Ability to identify patterns through analytics, technology trends and brand strategies

Relationship / account/ content marketing expertise

Experience with Site Catalyst

Market research

Experience with marketing in the Manufacturing industry a plus

Experience with content management systems

Project Management

Expert level skills with Microsoft Office suite applications Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access
