Dominion Enterprises is searching for a Recruiting Manager to lead our team of recruiters (#5) in Norfolk, VA.

Our clients rely on our proven online marketing, web design, data management, hosting, and software solutions to engage buyers and sellers around the world. We believe in strengthening relationships and growing together.

The Recruiting Manager must have experience working in and managing sales and technology recruiting environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly manages a team of recruiters with a focus on technology, sales, finance, and marketing roles
  • Partners with business leaders to recommend recruiting strategies, analyze trends, proactively anticipate future hiring needs and directly recruit on key senior leadership roles
  • Aligns staffing processes to Applicant Tracking System capability
  • Analyze/assess new technologies and builds capabilities via systems
  • Develop recruiting strategies to create a candidate pipeline for future company growth
  • Represent Dominion Enterprises and work with universities, professional organizations, user groups to promote internship and future candidate pipelines for talent
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on recruiting/employment activities
  • Develop the skills of the recruiting team as well as improving the recruiting process

    Requirements:

    • Broad recruiting experience with 3 to 5 years of experience leading recruiting teams that target product development, engineering, and technical sales
    • Robust research and sourcing skills used to identify hard to find talent
    • Executive search experience
    • Able to develop and implement department strategy, and manage multiple recruitment plans and assignments in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience developing the skills of the recruiting team as well as improving the recruiting process
    • Professional discretion and judgment, and adherence to confidential information
    • Working knowledge of legal requirements related to recruitment and staffing
    • Impeccable written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers at all levels of the organization
    • Able to travel
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Bachelor’s degree required
