**Job Description:**







Implementation consultants provide an analysis of the existing workflow of a site and make recommendations for improvements based on their requirements and the options available within the system. They assist with implementing and testing of the recommended design as well as assist with user education.







**Job Family Specific:**







Works on medium to large-sized individual or multiple projects, usually with multiple computer environments where design is very complex. Performs analysis of customers' business requirements and application objectives; develops an application design in products to meet customers' needs. Estimates time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement very complex project; develops project plan incorporating all project variables. Conducts periodic status checks with customer and team to assess progress against plan. Prepares weekly status reports on all project activities.







May develop pre-sales support activities as needed.

Independently performs advanced areas of work for the professional field. Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently. Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems.

**Requirements:**







Technical:







o Understanding of the Radiology Department and general workflow.







o Understanding of IT and general network architecture.







o Understanding and ability to use common desktop applications (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project).







o Familiarity with SQL database structure.







Personal:







o Ability to work independently, a self-starter.







o Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and is able to translate that to all ongoing projects.







o Ability to prioritize tasks with superior time-management skills.







o Ability to work across multiple projects.







o Ability to design, deliver, document, and present solutions to Customers with both short-term and long-term goals taken into consideration.







o Ability to troubleshoot issues and facilitate problem resolution.







o Ability to design and deliver user education as needed for each engagement.







o Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve project goals.







o Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all team members, customers, and management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.







o Ability to document project status, risks, and outcomes.







**Travel:**







o Active driver's license.







o Willingness and ability to travel at least 75% of the work time.







**Education:**







Bachelor's degree in IT or Radiology Management desired. Career experience in either Radiology or Information Technology may be considered in place of a degree.







**Experience:**







Minimum three years of experience in either Radiology or Information Technology Department.







Previous consulting or Project Management experience is desired.
