**Job Description:**

**_Position Overview_**

**Siemens Building Technologies is seeking a Solutions Project Coordinator to support our construction projects. The goal of the position is to allow Project Managers and Supervisors to focus on the job execution, while ensuring implementation of our core business processes. The coordinator works to see that the projects run smoothly through all Project Milestones, keeping focused attention on document control and project close-out. The coordinator also acts as the alternate point of contact for the customer in order to help ensure overall customer satisfaction.**

The Project Coordinator position allows you to work with internal customers as well as external customers to deliver Quality to the Customer and Profitability to the Company.

Provide support to the Operations team to ensure compliance and conformance to work flow standards through the whole construction project cycle.

Monthly duties include invoicing, writing subcontracts, collecting necessary paperwork and data from subcontractors, processing change orders, assisting project managers and operation managers to successfully execute construction projects in the Automation, Fire and Security industry.


Assist a team of project managers with monthly duties in billings, scheduling, and processing paperwork

Understand company work flow standards and monitor compliance

Process project Invoices

Process project change orders

Process project claims using SAP

Process subcontracts

Assist in collection of paperwork from subcontractor

Ensure all jobs are reviewed and claims are processed in Audit Report

Review PM Milestone sheets and updates Project Milestones in SAP during month-close.

Monitor all closed jobs; ensure all are billed 100%

Run automated Project Closeout process

Partner with Solutions-to-Service Turnover Coordinator.

Administer Financial Reporting for OMs and PMs including Good Receipts and Monthly Cost center Comparison Report.

Manage Sales-to-Ops and Solutions-to-Service Turnover, schedule related meetings, prepare agenda for projects to be turned over, and ensure appropriate approvals.

Process claims, make adjustments in SAP, provide PMs with project documentation upon completion.

Coordinate and attend Operations meetings.

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**

AS Degree or BS Degree

Construction Industry knowledge 1 - 5 years experience

Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, required

**Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**

Billing documents using AIA format

Reading Construction documents helpful

SAP knowledge
