_Control Products Business Unit_

**Position Overview**

The Control Products (CP) business unit plays a vital role in the overall performance and sustainability of Siemens Digital Factory (DF) business in the U.S. We offer an extensive array of control products based on leading edge technology and innovation, which offer infrastructure around our automation and drives portfolio, and is foundational to our Totally Integrated Automation offering. To grow within the 1 billion dollar plus U.S industrial controls market requires focus in specific industries, and tight collaboration with our other business units, sales, channel, partners, and key customers and prospects. Leading this effort in the business unit is our national vertical industries business development team.

The Control Products (CP) business unit of Siemens is seeking an individual to join our team as a Commercial Marketing Consultant (CMC). The CMC will be responsible for growing new and existing accounts in revenue, customer satisfaction and customer retention. This position will report directly to the Commercial Marketing Team Lead for our controls business unit.

+ Identify and develop distributors/customers within assigned geographic area to achieve sales goals.

+ Utilize knowledge of market conditions, competitive strategies and processes to develop a unique value proposition and position Siemens as the vendor of choice.

+ Deliver customer presentations that articulate the value proposition of Siemens DF CP.

+ Utilize a disciplined sales process to include target account planning, accurate forecasting, opportunity and pipeline development/management.

+ Develop a sales plan that identifies and prioritizes opportunities to drive market share and revenue growth through all assigned markets in coordination with Channel and local Sales teams.

+ Participate in mandatory reporting and planning sessions.

+ Up to 50% domestic travel required with possible international travel.

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**

+ BA/BS or equivalent work experience

+ 5 years of experience and expertise with Controls, and Circuit Protection: IEC and NEMA controls, Circuit Breakers, etc.

+ Strong track record of revenue growth in related positions within the industry.

+ Demonstrated business acumen in balancing customer and business requirements, financials etc.

+ Excellent track record of establishing strong customer relationships.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment, working with direct and matrixed resources to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable growth.
