Business Architecture – Coordinate with relevant parties to agree the correct structure, interaction and integration between the business strategy and the operating model (policy, organization, functions, end-to-end business processes and information needs)

  • End-to-End Process Governance/Custodianship – Manage & Develop Business Intelligence Process to drive adoption of globally agreed processes, share process-improvement best practices and actively manage proposed changes according to the defined methodology.
  • Integrated Operating Model Design – Ensuring ongoing alignment & integration of Business Intelligence operating model with other parts of the business by coordinating and managing integration points with other parallel projects and initiatives impacting the businesses
  • Strategy Deployment – Develop, manage & execute regional Business Intelligence capability roadmap (people, process, technology & information) aligned with strategic roadmap. The roadmap will progressively and logically raise the business capabilities in each country to the requisite level to meet the strategic objectives of all the impacted functions. Liaise with key stakeholders at country, regional & global level to ensure the roadmap is agreed, funded and achievable.
  • Support Global Information Management Operating Model Design, working closely with the Global team to refine offerings to meet local market needs
  • Pathfinder / Pilot Management – Drive innovation and fully understand future operating model implications via actively managing approved pilots/pathfinder projects
  • Lean-Six-Sigma & Operational Excellence – Oversee and drive lean-six-sigma & continuous improvement activity across the end-to-end process, supporting both Global & in-country teams to uplift operational performance overtime.
  • Execute Process Diagnostics, benchmarking & base-lining as required to support Business Case Development – Conduct needs assessments and co-develop value-driver based business cases for key components of the operating model including but not limited to tools, functionality, shared services, Make vs. Buy decisions etc.; Ensure implementation & total cost of ownership are justified.
  • Training  Needs Assessment, Material Development & Train-the-Trainer Support – provide business, new process model and local market contextualization to Training Materials. Ensure business users receive the correct & adequate training for successful deployment of the new operating model
  • Provide input to the assessment of anticipated business change impacts of the new operating model on each functional area at a country-level based on As-Is process diagnostic
  • Execute Post Implementation Reviews according to agreed Business calendar - monitor and document both the successes and shortcomings of initiatives from a people, process and/or technology perspective.
  • Value Realization: oversee regular reviews of actual value being delivered by projects and be able to articulate to stakeholders the benefits of change.
  • As leader of Business Intelligence proces stay abreast of emerging best practices and gather learnings from across Abbott and peer companies. Build & Support Communities of Practice which underpin collaboration efforts both within and outside of the region.
