**Job Description:**


1. Work with a Statistics Expert in Technical Operations to extract data for calibrator products from a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) into Microsoft Excel and use Excel macros to automate creation of control charts.

2. Improvement and re-validation of an Excel spreadsheet for calibrator Bottle Value Assignment (BVA) including:

a. Create an Excel macro to calibrate all instrument and reagent combinations with one click for the initial and final calibrations.

b. Add additional calculations and graphs to flag abnormal calibrations and outlier samples to guide re-runs.

3. Use Microsoft Excel to create control charts for products where in-process and finished product testing data are collected in Excel for each manufactured lot.

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**

+ Statistical background with understanding of ANOVA and Confidence Intervals

+ Experience with statistical and/or scientific programming in a high-level programming language.Experience with Microsoft VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is particularly valuable.

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

+ Senior student in Statistics/Biostatistics/Sciences/Engineering or other relevant field of study with skills listed above.
