**Job Description:**







**Siemens US Talent Acquisition**







**Position Overview**







We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated student for an intern position in our Configuration Management Department.







The student will be fully trained in our DevOps processes and will be helping our engineers with typical IT Security Operation tasks such as machine patching, final software integration, task automation and document creation.







**Responsibilities**







+ Patching installation and testing on monthly basis



+ Vulnerability assessment in IT lab environments



+ Documentation creation



+ Media creation and final software integration



+ Automation of repetitive tasks via scripts development







**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**







+ Computer Science or IT-related education program



+ Minimum contribution of 20 hours per week



+ Basic understanding of software development processes and IT operations



+ Basic understanding of script programming in Python or Perl



+ Basic understanding of Windows operating systems from both user and administrator perspective



+ Willingness to be exposed to a fast paced environment, working on many different areas of expertise in parallel and learn as much as possible from the experts on those areas.
