**Job Description:**

Siemens Building Technologies is searching for a customer focused senior level Business Development Manager for their UL Fire Safety Suppression Systems product portfolio. This important role will be responsible for driving and supporting the growth of the Siemens Clean Agent Suppression portfolio for the Americas (US, Canada, Latin America). This role will report to CPS Fire Segment UL Head and is an individual contributor role.

In this role, you'll lead all business development activities related to the generation of business opportunities, sales growth and channel support for the Siemens UL Clean Agent suppression product portfolio to achieve defined Americas sales growth targets.

You will work closely with sales teams in the Americas to generate sales opportunities, identify and establish relationships with new and existing clients, identify and develop new vertical markets into which to significantly grow the sales of Siemens UL Clean Agent suppression portfolio.

This role works closely with the product management team (US and globally) to provide market input and feedback regarding product portfolio gaps/ needs and new innovations and enhancements to enable growth. Supports Product Management in defining product value propositions and market positioning / price positioning.

This role works closely with the product marketing team and market development team to identify and develop needed sales and marketing tools and business development tools, communication strategies, demos, system builders, marketing programs and product and application trainings to support Americas channel partners growth.

This role works closely with Siemens Value Added Partners and Siemens Branch offices to drive sales of Siemens UL Clean Agent portfolio to gain market share in the Americas.

You will represent Siemens as expert in field of fire suppression in industry associations (ie: FSSA, etc.), technical committees (NFPA, UL, FM).

**All Qualified candidates MUST have the following:**

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering.

- Minimum (15) years experience in fire suppression industry sales or product management and fire suppression industry experience.

- Excellent organization skills, excellent communication skills (both written and spoken), strategic orientation, strong business results & customer orientation. - Budget planning and management experience

- Experience working in a team environment - collaborating with Product Management, Sales and Marketing organizations to strategically plan short term and long term sales plans and business goals.

- Strong P.C. skills required for data analysis, report writing, presentations, etc. - Must be able to travel throughout the Americas (US, Canada, Central and South America) approximately 50% of the time.
