**_Position Overview_**

_Siemens Industry Industrial Sales division is searchingfor a highly professional account manager with a passion for customerengagement and satisfaction. Thisposition is located in Houston, Texas._

_The selectedcandidate will manage a strategic relationship with a key rotating equipmentOEM. This includes creating andexecuting an account development plan, working with and expanding business withthe existing customer and assisting in developing joint customers._

_The top candidate will exceed sales revenue goals byeffectively executing on key strategies and activities to include:_

+ _Improving customer productivity, efficiency andflexibility through automation, controls, motor and drives technology andsoftware solutions_

+ _Understanding the industrial rotating equipment marketas it relates to customer requirements, opportunities and competition_

+ _Building and maintaining a business plan by cultivatinga healthy sales pipeline by uncovering new opportunities, following up on leadsand managing the existing customer base._

+ _Building long term partnerships with seniormanagement at key customer accounts, solutions partners and channel partners._

+ _Preparing presentations and professional proposalsthat highlight the value of our solutions and services_

+ _Professionally escalating and expediting customerissues_

+ _Developing a personal sales strategy thatmaximizes the return on time investment._

+ _Engaging business unit technical and industryexperts+ to provide solutions that address unique customer requirements_

+ _Leveraging customer relationship managementtools to manage the entire sales cycle, prioritize activities, and provideaccurate forecasting information._

**_Requiredknowledge/skills Education and Experience_**

+ _Bachelors degree or equivalent experience_

+ _15 or more years of successful sellingexperience in industrial automation products and rotating equipment solutions_

+ _Demonstrated business acumen in balancingcustomer and business requirements, i.e. financials strategic and tacticalthinking etc._

+ _Executive levelverbal and written communication and presentation skills_

+ _Inherent ability to work effectively in a teamenvironment and strong desire to win_

+ _Organization and time management skills tosucceed in a fast paced environment_

+ _Travel 25%_

**_PreferredKnowledge/Skills, Education and Experience_**

+ _BS in Electrical Engineering or IndustrialDistribution preferred_

+ _Experience with OEMs, End Users and channel partnershighly desirable_

+ _Knowledge of customers and competitors withinthe defined territory is a plus._
