**Job Description:**







Siemens Government Technologies is seeking an Account Manager for Federal Energy Projects accountable for growth of strategic federal customers in providing energy management products, services and energy project solutions to reduce energy and operations expenditures. Key capabilities include experience in strategy, client management, opportunity capture, proposals and pipeline development. This specific position will have an emphasis on Department of Defense customers with energy process loads. This role reports to the Sr. Director for Account Management.







**Responsibilities:**







+ Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability and customer satisfaction/loyalty.



+ Pursue long-term account strategy that maximizes profits.



+ Identify, develop and manage channel partners to achieve channel goals.



+ Assist in cultivating long-term relationships with the appropriate key account decision makers.



+ Develop complete understanding of the organization's structure and key buying influences of assigned account.



+ Perform client presentations articulating the value proposition of product / solution / service offerings.



+ Develop forecasts, budgets and operating plans for customer development acquisition channels.



+ Manage and grow sophisticated federal government projects independently within established guidelines with energy contract vehicles including ESPCs, UMCSs, PPAs, EUL, UESCs and other contracts as required.



+ Drive award winning new standard contracts, delivery orders and task orders. Obtain notice of intent and work with structure finance to secure financing.







+ Work with resources, internally and externally, including project developers, engineers, finance, legal groups to provide solution to the customer.



+ Collaboratively transition to project development and continue to monitor development progress.



+ Resolve installation, collections and other customer satisfaction issues.



+ Execute engagement with customer to support products and services and future prospect development.



+ Prepare accurate and thorough customer activity reports, forecast reports and proposal expense tracking.



+ Represent in large and small strategic venues to include civic and professional organizations and conferences, meetings and seminars.



+ Ability to develop strategic roadmaps with customers that utilize Siemens energy efficient technologies



+ Deploy account strategies, including pipeline development.



+ Proposal development and management of cross functional teams to meet customer requirements.







**Qualifications:**







+ Bachelors degree in engineering, business or a similar field.



+ Knowledge of and ability to collect data utility analysis



+ Minimum 5 years of experience of Federal Energy Performance Contracting experience; preferably customer account management, development or acquisition.



+ Sales experience is a plus



+ Understanding of Federal government contract vehicles, especially ESPC, PPP, UESC, PPA, MATOC, IDIQ, and EULs.



+ Specific federal agency experience is a plus (i.e. government or military experience)



+ Proven track record of success with previous portfolio.



+ Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written.



+ Understand federal government agencies, procurement vehicles and general federal market knowledge to achieve successful goals.







**Security Clearance:**







Must be US citizen and have the ability to obtain a federal government security clearance, if later required.
