**Job Description:**







Position Overview:







The Account Executive will drive short and long-term business development and sales activities focused on Siemens electrical services portfolio. This role is required to develop, manage, and leverage relationships with end-users, owners, electrical contractors, industry consultants, channel partners and inter-divisional partners within Siemens Industry. The goal is to establish long-term relationships with key customers and partners in order to generate electrical services growth. In this role the Account Executive will be responsible for selling service agreements, retrofits, studies, and modernizations for the existing Siemens electrical distribution installed base, Siemens new installations and OEM startup and service provider, and competitor installed base. The Account Executive will work with the existing Siemens Industry sales teams in Automation, Fire, and Security to penetrate the existing customer base with Electrical Services offerings. The service portfolio is targeted at low and medium voltage power distribution systems.







Responsibilities:







Increase Siemens visibility and create a leadership position in electrical-services customers, resulting in an increased market share for the Los Angeles Branch.







The individual must be technically experienced in medium and low power distribution systems and components.







The individual must be experienced in developing solutions around key electrical services portfolio elements such as:







o Preventative Maintenance Services







o Predictive Maintenance Services







o Power System Studies







o Arc Flash Mitigation Solutions







o LV and MV Equipment Modernization Solutions







The Account Executive must be able to walk jobs to define scope, estimate cost, create technical proposal, and push opportunity through sales cycle.







This role requires the individual to develop and conduct seminars and lunch & learns to end-users, contractors and consulting firms to promote company products and solution sets.







Support local sales and management with strategic planning and forecasting through research, development, and maintenance of competitive information in the area.







Maintains technical competence of companys products, applications, and services while professionally representing Siemens in industry associations, professional organizations, and affiliations.







Acts as a submit matter experts supporting the overall organization in electrical services opportunity acquisition and execution.







Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:







Required education: High school diploma, state-recognized GED, or state-recognized high school proficiency exam required.







Required experience: Five years of experience in electrical services.







Required travel: 20%







Other Requirements:







o Excellent verbal, written, organizational and negotiation skills in English.







o Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.







o Must be at least 21 years old to participate in required Siemens vehicle plan.







o Must have a valid drivers license in good standing.







o Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.







o Demonstrable professional principles and skills.







o Must possess an outgoing personality, be able to present herself/himself and Siemens in a professional and positive way, be technically astute, and work well in a team environment.







Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:







Preferred education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
