**Job Description:**







Second Shift Quality Supervisor







**Job Overview:**







Reporting to Incoming Inspection/Final Release QC Manager, the Quality Supervisor will work with cross-functional teams to support resolution of compliance issues during the second shift. Supervise Incoming Inspection Technicians and Final Release Technicians and oversee operations of the QC area while maintaining focus on enforcing adherence to internal procedures and regulatory compliance standards.







**Job Responsibilities:**







Supervise and provide training to quality technicians and inspectors







Ensures all direct reports understand the performance standards of their department and have a clear understanding of their own individual performance







Enforces adherence to Company policies and procedures







Develop CMM programs for dimensional verification of gauges and components







Prepare CMM dimensional reports and as needed conducts training on CMM and lab equipment







Assist quality team members with capability and R&R studies as needed







Participate in corrective actions/continuous improvement projects







Inspects, tests, or measures materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications







Conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component







Supports Manufacturing departments in maintaining compliance with applicable standards and regulations







Cross-trains Quality Control Technicians in performing various types of quality control to prevent staffing shortages







**Education and Experience:**







Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering Field of study or 10 years experience supervising inspectors and quality technicians in a medical-device industry setting







**Special Requirements/Certifications:**







Knowledge of requirements and regulations related to ISO 13485







Knowledge of requirements and regulations of FDA CFR for Medical Devices







**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**







Knowledge of ISO13485 standards for Medical Devices







Knowledge of FDA Code of Federal Regulations for Medical Devices







Extensive knowledge of quality control standards, practices, and applicable techniques







Knowledge of external quality audits and providing compliance support







Advanced knowledge of reports used in Quality Assurance and Quality Control







Proficient skills in cross-training Quality Control Personnel on various forms quality control







Proficient skills in mediating disagreements between departments







Proficient skills in SAP







Advanced skills in CMM programming







Advanced knowledge in GD&T







Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
