Drilling down and examining the U.S. employment activity by job title in April 2011, C-Level Manager levels dropped significantly from 104 in March 2011 to 89 in April 2011,while the demand for VP candidates also dropped by nine points to 104. Conversely, the demand for Director Level positions jumped 10 points to 105. Manager level positions still finished at the top of the list with an index score of 119, rising only one point since March.

Despite the 40-point boost from December 2010 to January 2011, the demand for C-Level candidates has continued to decline month-after-month. VP and Director Level positions continue to bounce around, while Manager Level positions continue to climb steadily each month. The good news is that all levels have gained double-digit improvements from April 2010 and a 50+ point gains from April 2009.
